Invitation to the National Food Systems Dialogues
We humbly invite you all to tune in and participate in the Food Systems Summit
In September 2021, United Nations (UN) Secretary-General, António Guterres, will convene a Food Systems Summit to raise global awareness and land global commitments and actions that transform food systems to resolve not only hunger, but to reduce diet-related disease and heal the planet.
As a UN Member State, Namibia has accepted the UN’s call to contribute to the Food Systems Summit and will convene a National Three-Stage Dialogue process that will involve the participation of a broad base of stakeholders at both national and sub-national levels from 29th July to 16th August 2021.
The National Dialogues, and the broader Food Systems Summit, are a powerful opportunity to engage meaningfully, explore collectively and emerge resiliently for sustainable food.
