Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of COVID-19 in Namibia

This assessment is to support the Government of the Republic of Namibia (GRN) in its effort to respond to the ongoing pandemic. It is premised on the five (5) pillars of the United Nations (UN) Framework for the immediate socio-economic response to COVID-19. It aims to highlight some of the assessments of the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Namibian society. The work also presents response measures undertaken by the GRN and other entities, as well as policy recommendations aimed at building back better from the pandemic.
