The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is the world’s largest “to-do list” for bringing about change for people, our planet and our collective prosperity. It has become imperative to explore and acknowledge how young people define their role and how they want to contribute towards the achievement of the SDGs.
UN Namibia’s ‘SDG Game’ session with a group of competitive grade seven learners turned into a spirited and fun learning exercise. With the group activity instilling an instinctive feel for principles of sustainability principles. The learners found the exercise meaningful and suggested that an additional expansion pack for more questions and greater challenges be added.
