Stakeholder Consultation Process for the United Nations CCA/CF goes underway

First consultation of the United Nations Common Country Analysis (CCA) and Coorperation Framework (CF) process with stakeholders was successfully held last week

Having taken place on Thursday, 20 October 2022, the consultation was co-chaired with the National Planning Commission (NPC) and over 80 participants attended from line ministries, civil society (persons with disabilities, women, youth, labor unions), academia, private sector, and development partners.

The UN Team led participatory presentations of the preliminary findings of the CCA in the four analysis dimensions, receiving positive feedback on the general direction of the findings and pointing out areas for potential improvements and gaps.

The analysis dimensions include:

The UN Common Country Analysis (CCA) is an integrated, forward-looking, and evidence-based analysis of the country context for sustainable development. It reflects the integrated nature of the SDGs, and is structured to provide a cumulative, logical articulation of the key development challenges and opportunities for the United Nations Namibia to inform future strategic programming decisions.
