Asset Building training for adolescent girls and young women

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) recognise the promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights as well as prevention of Gender-based violence as fundamental to development. This has been reinforced during the recent commitments of the International Conference on Population Development (ICPD +25 Summit) in Nairobi. As part of the Gender Links work plan, UNFPA is supporting the translation of the promises into practice, especially for adolescent girls and young women. It is in in this light that Gender Links, in collaboration with Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA) with the support of UNFPA, will host a training. The training will be attended by forty adolescent girls and young women from Ohangwena and Zambezi regions. UNFPA will co – facilitate and provide the necessary technical support. The training is open for invited participants only.
