On 23rd April, 2021, the organisers of the SDG Book Club African Chapter inaugurated the Book Club by officially launching the selected books (Reading list) for SDG 1: No Poverty and SDG 2: Zero on the UN’s website for the project.
We are now making a call to African publishers and authors to submit their books for children between the ages of 6 and 12 that relate to SDG 3: Good Health and Wellbeing. The submission can be done by filling any of the forms from the links below. To make the application complete, the applicant should mail the book in pdf to the given e-mail in the form (unsdgbookclubafricanchapter@gmail.com).
The SDG Book Club African Chapter focuses on African children’s books (fiction and non-fiction but not textbook) in English, French, Arabic and Kiswahili. You can also use any of the links to submit a suitable book in any African language that relates to the SDG 3.

Kindly note that the deadline for the submission of the form and book is Friday 14th May, 2021.
The UN SDG Book Club African Chapter promotes books and reading culture among children in Africa, provides great promotion for authors, publishers, booksellers, libraries, etc., fosters great book industry collaboration and enhance great opportunities for intra-African trade promotion of books.
Publishers/authors whose books are selected will be given a sticker that may be affixed on the front cover for e-book and reprinted copies.
